We stayed on Friday night for the Robbie Williams Concert. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. There is a small car park at the back of the hotel. We ate in Mother Reilly's before going to the concert and I was really surprised how good the food was. We had the fish and chip. The fish... More

The staff here are very friendly but that's about as far as the positives go. It is a dated building with some nice Tudor features, and the room we had was very old too. You could hear everybody walking in the room above and so it made for a difficult nights sleep. The floorboards are really creaky and it feels... More

Stayed at the Uppercross House Hotel last Sat, 18th May. First off, price wise, it was €125 for one night's B&B, so €25 less than the Travelodge down the road, which did not have breakfast included. So cheaper, and much nicer to stay in an independently owned hotel as opposed to a chain. First impressions were excellent - the gentleman... More

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, it had it all. The owner is very nice, and let us out even on an unusual check out time (2.30pm) and that was really nice. The breakfast was very good, well served and the waitresses very nice. Just one Hic: the window. We were in... More

The room offers everything you need for a stay of several days / nights. The price-performance ratio is fair for Ireland. The rooms are spacious enough and the underfloor heating has provided their service. the breakfast was a bit poor, but the food in the restaurant and the food in the pub was very good and the facilities sociable. Parking... More

Liked: location (well connected with the city centre - 10/15 minutes by bus), breakfast (excellent!!!!!!), friendly staff (thank you!!!), interior design in the public spaces, clean rooms and corridors. Disliked: problems with water outflow in the washing bin (the bin was full after 25 seconds and it needed 2 minutes more to get empty again (reserve more time for your... More

We stayed at this hotel recently and were very pleased that the restaurant serviced great food right up to 10 p.m. The breakfast was excellent too. The location of the hotel suited us as we were visiting family nearby. Parking can get a bit cramped but the staff are helpful in this regard, as they are in other ways. Excellent... More

Stayed here for one night - single room. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The room was clean and functional. As per other reviewers, get a room at the back, I was in room 25 which is beside the smoking area and is very noisy. As a heavy sleeper, this did not bother me but... More
