Service was very bad. Woken up by the firebrigade at 4 o oclock in the morning and again at 6 by cars passing outside on the street. Would never stay there again and would reccomend other guests not too. Only good thing was breakfast more

I booked this hotel after seeing it a travel guide and because it was old fashioned as we dont really like modern decor. Bad Points: -our room was on the top floor and there was someone in the attic from 4am onwards making noise. When I complained in the morning, the receptionist siad soemone had been up fixing the plumbing!... more
I left the booking of this hotel to a friend I was travelling with and was pleasantly surprised. It's exterior does not match the lavish interior of gothic style paint work and over sized furniture in the foyer. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was light and airy and the food was... more
Booked this hotel for my father and his colleague as a result of the reviews on Trip advisor as wasnt sure where would be good to stay on their first trip to Dublin . Was quite nervous beforehand as comments about the noise and the fire station, but turned out that they loved everything about it. Very central for them... more
I have just come back from a break in Dublin, and it has to be said how disappointing this Hotel was. Only two check in staff, with many people waiting to be served. No porter to assist with bags. Our suite was up four flights of stairs with no lift, and heavy bags to carry was no joke. Under staffed... more
Just stayed 3 nights here in an Executive Room on the sixth floor of the Courtyard Rooms - with a lovely view over the city, across Trinity College to the Wicklow Mountains. We did find it expensive - I think it was 158 Euros for the first night and then 180 or so for the Friday and Saturday nights, and... more
We selected this hotel based on the Hotel website, as well as TripAdvisor comments. I was a bit nervous-it seems hotel rooms never look like the pictures on websites; also, comments on the noisy location were a liitle scary. But, we had a short layover in Dublin, so we wanted to be central. Our stay was simply terrific. The staff... more
Have just returned from Dublin where we stayed at the Trinity Capital Hotel. Loved it. Has a style which is a cross between something from the Empire Period to Alice in Wonderland. Very friendly staff. Very central location. Very comfy beds and pleasant , sheltered and very acceptable smoking seated area,s. The only thing that we had a small problem... more
This hotel is great. Gorgeous decorations and comfy rooms. breakfast was not the best but there was a good choice and go back unlimited times to set yourself up for the day. The staff were very helpful and polite. We arrived at 11:30 am and they were able to give us a room straight away. Overall a great hotel and... more
Brilliant Hotel. A very modern and stylish place. The decor was something else. Oversized mirrors, lights etc in lovely shades. I have stayed in a lot of good hotels but nothing like this. Staff couldnt have been friendlier or more helpful. Rooms werent the biggest but tastefully decorated. Great choice of breakfast. Located close to Grafton Street and if you take... more
