This hotel is a disgrace, it's filthy and the staff are unbelievable rude. They think becasue the room rates are so cheap that they can treat you like dirt. I actually felt really unsafe staying here and I ended up with bites all over my body after sleeping in the bed. A Hostel would be a much better & cleaner... more

we stayed here for the start of our honeymoon. The lift is a bit scary though, probably the smallest lift i have ever been on. we were automatically upgraded as it was our honeymoon, and we got a suite. The hotel is old, and the room reflected this, but my new wife likes her antiques, and we were both really... more

Sunday is a peacefull night there as the 2 popular nightclubs are closed. The hotel and bed rooms are Georgian and old, but they are very clean and comfortable. The bar, breakfast area and nightclubs are newer and they are more modern and stylish. There were some faults however...the elevator is small and there was no cold water in the... more

We booked here as a weekend away. Abit apprehensive once we did after reading the reviews on here but cant believe what all the fuss was about. We got room 111 which was clean , massive and hardly any nightclub music was heard. We had hot water all our stay and would definatly go back again. Mind you one thing i... more

What a terrible place to stay. On my stay here like other reviews above, there was no hot water. The staff told me it was a problem in the street and not in their control, yet there seemed to be abot 3 plumbers working on the roof of the hotel around the clock. When this was brought up with hotel... more

This is really not a hotel but a nightspot. Every square inch of the hotel inside and out is turned into a bar at night with loud blarring music, fights, drunks everywhere. Elevator or lift as they call it accomodates one person at a time so be prepared to lug your luggage upstairs. Interior is worn out, shabby , half... more

The hotel itself is lovely...... we were given a massive bedroom with a 4-poster bed which was really fab! All the staff were lovely and very helpful. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.... it was delicious!! The only problem.......and believe me it is a BIG problem..... was the noise at night!!! The room physically was shaking with the beats... more

What a great surprise. This was a last minute trip with my adult son, husband and I and we were looking for a central location that would accomadate the 3 of us. This place was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. The Room/suite was large, clean and nicely furnished and the beds were very conforable. The hotel is in... more

We stayed there with my husband just after good night out in city centre, so we back at the hotel by 3 am, party was over by this time, so there was no noise, but when I checked in earlier on receptionist wasn`t great at all, smell off cigarette, no customer service skills. The only person that was helpfull, was... more

So the experience all started around 3pm when we booked in and went to the triple room (double and single bed would have thought it would be three single beds but silly me!) and discovered there was no water to wash your hands, have a shower, or flush the toilet. They never mentioned that when we booked in... funny that!... more
