Myself and 4 other ladies stayed here on our first and last night while staying in Dublin on a 10 day tour. It was in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, pubs, late bars and the park too! Great value and extremely nice service at the front desk. Good breakfast buffet and would recommend for the price. They let... more

The location of this hotel is great - not too far a walk for the main city. The price also wasn't too bad - not high end but not cheap as chips either, so we expected a sort of middle standard hotel. Our room was very small for a triple, the tv was tucked away in a corner and the... more

I stayed at the Harcourt. It is in a great location, and was not that expensive. However, the Harcourt is located in the same building/overlooking a night club. You can hear the nightclub until about 4 am. You can also hear EVERYTHING inside the hotel because the walls are paper thin. If you want to sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE. more

The hotel has a great location right by St. Stephen's Green. The rooms are typical, nothing special. What stands out about this hotel is the price, cheap for Dublin. However, be forewarned that the hotel bar has a large outdoor garden area which can get quite noisy at times. more

We stayed 2 nights at the Harcourt Hotel and the overall experience was good. We had 2 single rooms and 2 double - and were happy to see that we got twin as single and triples for the double occupancy - so we had more space. The bathrooms were nice, clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. If you have a... more

The only reason that this hotel wouldn't get an 'excellent' rating is due to the noise, but as we were on a stag weekend this did not really apply. The pub and nightclub are both very good. Beer is pricey (but so is everywhere in Dublin) but they do have a happy hour. Food at the hotel is very good,... more

The location and price was the main reason I booked this hotel, even with all the terrible reviews. I stayed for two nights, then three more at the end of my trip to Ireland. The first room was OK. It was in the main part of the hotel and quite big even though not very modern. On the return trip... more

I booked a triple room at the Harcourt Hotel for a short stay, hoping that it would have been a clean place and fairly central. What I got was beyond my expectations: the triple room was huge with two cupboards, several small cabinets and...a large vanity. There were even facilities for tea and coffee. The bathroom was extremely clean and... more

We were 'farmed out' to this place by the Mercer Hotel when we arrived there and told that they (the Mercer) had overbooked. We were given a very small attic room which was clean but smelt of cigarette smoke. The room had no ventilation so the only way to get a bit of air into the room was to open... more
