Had a pleasant stay at this beautiful mansion in the upscale neighborhood of Ballsbridge, in the south of Dublin. Just a block from the American Embassy and accessible by public transportation, there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Although not in the direct center of Dublin, I was able to walk to and from downtown easily. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, the breakfast home cooked and tasty. Helen Moran was a gracious hostess. A nice feature was the free wi-fi (I had my laptop) which her son was able to give me the code and it worked perfectly, even for Skype calls. This was a nice change from the $8 an hour chagred in an internet cafe.
