Top floor with two young kids, three stories high with no lift.Window in room was not fit for purpose ,mouldy and i felt my youngest would be too cold in the bed nearest it. Bathroom shower was broken, worked but only just. The mould & cold made the bathroom quite uncomfortable. Basins on the landing to collect water from the... more

We were disappointed with our stay in Lyndon House, because the staff wasn't helpful. First of all the heating in our room didn't work, when the first night we asked to change to another room, this was not possible the B&B was apparently full, however we suspected this wasn't true, because we almost never saw any other people, and also the... more

The b+b is in an ideal location, along a bit from the writer's museum and a short walk into town via O'Connell street. Overall a pleasant stay. The girls here are busy and wear many hats but keep the place ticking over. I found them to be very polite and helpful. My single room was snug and clean and with... more

If you're looking for a no frills but clean and efficient base from which to explore Ireland, then this hotel will suit you fine, no complaints. Room was small but acceptable, good bathroom with lots of hot water, good filling breakfast in the morning. The staff was a little surly and taciturn, but responded to every concern we had (including... more

Accommodation in central Dublin is quite expensive, and the Lyndon Guesthouse does offer reasonable value for money considering what other Dublin hotels charge. However, you get what you pay for - this place is cheap and you don't get all that much. During my visit the guesthouse was run by two young ladies, generally only one being present at a... more

We spent 2 seperate nights at Lyndon Guesthouse. Positive points - Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, location is fantastic and just a short walk to O'Connell Street and Temple Bar, breakfast was huge and delicious, helpful staff. The second night the room and bathroom was quite big and towels were provided. Negative points - It took us quite a... more

Overall a pretty good hotel, about 10 min walking to O'Connell Street. The room was small but adequate. 1 big negative point: in name of protecting the environment, they only provide 1 towel per person. That's it. No shower mat, not face cloth, not 1 extra towel. Otherwise good value for money. more

An extremely unpleasant experience with the manager of Lyndon House: She used my Visa card number, which had been sent confidentially to another hotel, and billed me for a night I did not spent in her hotel!!! I booked one triple and a quad at Lyndon House in september. I was later informed that the owner had sold his property,... more

I stayed at this B&B about a year and half ago and I really liked it. Very well located, just footsteps away from Dublin Centre and Temple Bar. I had a two-night stay and it was perfect as I just needed a bed to sleep in, spending the whole day & evening outside. The staff was nice and I loved... more
