We booked this b&b the night before our stay, and ended up snagging a ridiculously great deal, which I almost don't want to disclose, so our "value" was right on the mark! However, I noticed the rack rate was 199 Euro for the deluxe double, and I would hesitate to pay that much. Yet, it certainly has great attributes: Location-Two... more

This hotel was booked for Valentines weekend. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the city centre and its boutique description. Well the hotel is centrally located and it is a boutique hotel but they were the best bits ! We were given room 10 which is on the top floor of the building - there is no lift.... more

Stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the location. You can pretty much walk to any of the sights in central Dublin. It's about two blocks from Grafton St, across from Trinity College and within easy walking distance to Temple Bar (although you may want to take a cab home if you'd had a few to drink :-) The staff... more

We planned our trip to Scotland and Ireland last May. Back then we booked 3 nights on Trinity Lodge, Dublin, on the internet by the first time. The day after, someone called us from Trinity Lodge telling us that the systems were down when we booked, and the room was already booked for someone else. We were sorry, because we... more

Just got back from a three night stay at this hotel. Not bad for the money. Got the deluxe room (#2) located on the first floor with a free full Irish breakfast every morning. Didn't hear a sound inside or outside in this room. The front desk was very nice and the hotel is very centrally located. Would stay again. more

Great location in the centre of Dublin-expect some noise at night as you are in the heart of everything. Safe area day and night although as you are in the centre of Dublin (as with any other city), do not leave valuables on show. 2 minute walk from main shopping areas of Grafton Street, Across the road from Trinity College.... more

Trinity Lodge is a hotel very close to trinity college that has been converted from a couple of Georgean town houses. The location is great for access to central Dublin. The double room we had was large and comfortable but a bit cluttered and many of the Georgan features had been spoiled by an unsymapthetic modernisation. The room was en-suit,... more

Arrived on a Friday night and was cheerfully greeted. The hotel is in an unremarkable road but very close to the centre and with a busy restaurant opposite. On-street pay and display parking is available and after 8pm, the meter allows you to purchase up to 3 hours parking starting from 8am the following day so you don't have to... more

Overall, this hotel is ok. Upon our arrival, we were told that our room was not ready (even though we arrived after check-in time). Though this isn't ideal, they did apologize and offered us complimentary drinks at the bar. I wasn't too impressed, however, the fact that they were apologetic was appreciated. Cleanliness of the room - not so appreciated.... more

The location is good, but the prices are high compared to the quality of the rooms (quite ordinary), and the place is very noisy at night due the disco nearby, making it very hard to get some sleep. Overall, the staff was not very friendly or helping. Quite disappointing after all the good comments below ! I certainly would not... more
