Good hotel /service and valiue. Would recommend as base in dublin as it is quite accessible to city centre. One small point , parking is charged for at 10 euros per day but its still good value . Didnt get to use leisure centre but it looked very good so quite a good package more

We stayed at this hotel for one night before a trip away as it was close to the airport, i wasn't expecting a palace as it was cheap but i expected to at least have decent bed covers and a bit of heating. We stayed out of the room for as long as possible as it was tiny and not... more

My husband and I spent a night here as part of the Aer Lingus package. Had we read the reviews about this hotel before we booked our package, we would have contacted Aer Lingus and negotiated a different hotel. As with any hotel, there were ups and downs, but more downs here than I would like. We arrived in Dublin... more

Stayed at this hotel with my wife for her birthday for thankfully for only 1 night. Staff are of a very poor standard and I don't know if this is down to poor training or just bad manners!! The lady at reception took in excess of 20mins to book a family of 4 in who were in front of us.... more

Not all bedrooms have been renovated and our rates clearly reflect this. In relation to our Restaurant and Breakfast- our Restaurant has been refurbished in...

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. We must've stayed in the older section, as we had the 2nd smallest room I've ever seen, had a tub shower that had only a half-partition (in which case it was good the water pressure was so low), and a funky smell in the hallway and room. There was also the... more

Please note we have 2 types of room here at the Regency Hotel - Standard Rooms and Executive Rooms- Our rates reflect the room types. There is always the...

This hotel is definitely an older hotel in Dublin and showing its age. The beds are very stiff and there is no air circulation in the rooms. After switching rooms numerous times, part of my group was given a room in the new section, which was much nicer than our rundown room in the older section. The room was cramped,... more

In the last 2 years The Regency Hotel has undergone a major refurbishment on all public areas and the majority of its bedrooms. We have opened a state of the Art Conference Centre and Leisure Centre. Not all our rooms have been renovated and our rates strongly reflect this. Standard rooms can be upgraded on arrival to Executive rooms as...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Room warm and very clean, breakfast was first class staff in the hotel were great. The prices for drink is cheaper in the hotel than temple bar area food is good. It is only 1 euro 60 to go into the town and any bus that passes the bus stop goes to... more

Honestly I have no idea what all the bad reviews were about. It may have been a dump before, but after the remodel it is a nice, clean, lovely hotel to stay at. The front desk personnel are EXTREMELY nice and went above and beyond for us. We arrived very early in the morning (around 6:30 am) and check in... more

Reception looks nice and modern, then you get out of the lift. Room was small and pokey, very basic, I've stayed in far nicer hotels for a lot less. Called up to some friends in another room, heard some very loud machinery as I got out of the lift, turned out that the noise in was the shower in thier... more

We had a room in the new wing. It was spotless, nicely furnished, and surprisingly roomy for a European hotel room. We had no issues with noise. The lobby was very nice with its mix of old and new decor. The restroom was marble and nicer than we expected. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of good... more
