My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights recently and had a great experience. Literally no complaints, except one of the front desk staff said that the shuttle to the airport is 5 Euro when actually it is complimentary. In any case, the room was big and clean and the staff was helpful regarding maps, bus schedules, etc. I... more

We got a room in the newly renovated section and it was simply beautiful! Had a great view, and everything was spotlessly clean. Loved the food, the breakfasts are excellent. We took a bus into town, which was very convenient as the bus stops very close by to the hotel. Posting photos of our room and the hotel below! more

I stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago when they were carrying out renovations, but it now appears that all the work is finished. I could not fault this hotel. Staff could not do enough, leisure centre was really nice. Hotel food was fresh too. Was a little apprehensive bases on the other reviews but when you ask for... more

We arrived from Scotland, and had booked into the hotel for the night before picking up our car the next day. Found the service ok, and staff helpful. Moved downstairs to have a drink and some dinner, the poor girl who was taking food orders was run off her feet, and we were lucky to get our order in before... more

I was very worried about staying here because of all the terrible reviews. The hotel came with a travel package, so we didn't have much of a choice. However, my fears were for nothing and I was pleasantly surprised. We did request a room in the new section of the hotel, which I think made a difference in our experience.... more

We stayed here for one night at the start of our holiday. I read the mixed reviews before we left for Ireland but needn't have worried. Everything was great, room lovely, staff helpful, evening meal and breakfast excellent. Porterage would have been helpful but I gather this is not usual in Ireland. more

We stayed here valentines weekend 09. We were put in the old part of the hotel, which was at the front under the red tacky lights, because we were a young couple. The room was dated, not used very often and had an unclean bedspread. The floor was uneven and wobbly!Dinner was rushed and too busy and my girlfriend was... more

This was one of the worst hotels we stayed in. We had a reservation for a non-smoking room in the "new" section of the hotel. Upon arrival, we were told that we could have either a non-smoking room in the old part or a smoking room in the new section. We opted for the new section after determining that the... more

We were meeting friends from the USA who were on a package that included this hotel. After reading the reviews, I was fearful about booking here. My fears were completely unfounded. Between us all, we booked five rooms and I saw three of them. I booked a special from the internet and was allowed to stay in the "Executive" room... more

The hotel is going through renovation of its rooms. We were assigned a renovated room but it didn't seem completed and could use another overview before releasing. This was of course after being placed in 3 other rooms previously that had locks that didn't work. Hotel is understaffed and uninformed about product. Staff including management blamed customer (us) that we... more
