There is only one good thing about this hostel - the location - well by location I mean that you can walk to O'Connell street quite quickly.

It was a disaster from the start. When we arrived at about 4pm we had to wait for ages for someone to come and acknowledge we were there. Then the guy that runs it turns up soaking wet saying he was fixing a shower - he then decided to tell us that it was our shower, and it was broken and would be fixed soon.....which was not really on. Then he said he would't accept cards as a form for payment so made us pay with cash even though on hostel bookers it says it accepts cards as payment.

Then he showed us to our room - we had booked a private twin ensuite, and he gave us a twin room with a shower and toliet that you had to walk down some stairs to get to- the shower could not be used and he said he would fix it soon and the wardrobe in the room was broken and had tape over it and was said to be unusable. We said we weren't happy... more
