Very good hotel if you take a look at its price,the room was big and clean and so was the private bathroom. Extremely noisy - the adjacent pub blasted until 2:30a.m., then the drunks on the street yelled for another hour, plus police sirens up and down the adjacent street. We went to Dublin for the Kooks concert on the bank holiday weekend and could really only find the Portobello due to the lack of accomadation available. Noisy and cramped. Hope you do not get the tiny box room. Our elevator went out on check out day and I had to drag my bags down 4 flights of stairs. The pub below is nice. Would not repeat stay here, just barely average. The staff was pleasant, though. more
