Great hotel with very friendly staff. Small but very comfortable rooms with clean bathroom. Perfect location, right in the center of Dublin, next to Temple Bar. The hotel has a lift. The food was good and the bar of the hotel was a nice place to enjoy a few pints ! Would definitely go back there if I go back... more

We have just returned from 2 nights in Dublin. We stayed at the Abbey Hotel on Middle Abbey St, just off O'Connel St and right in the city centre. We arrived very early, but our room was ready. It was a pleasant room on the top floor, but there was a lift. The room was not as cramped as I... more

This hotel is situated just off O'Connell Street so is ideally located near just about everything. We arrived a little early and our room was not ready so we had our first drinks and lunch in the bar Mojo's. Very good food big portions nice atmosphere during the day. The room was spacious and clean. It has the usual amenities... more

The central location, just off o'connell street is great. The rooms are very basic (similar to a 2* b n b in Blackpool). Bathroom was very basic and needed updated, however, for the cheap price you can't grumble, you get what you pay for. Staff were very helpful and let us check in just after 9am as a room was... more

The Abbey Hotel has a great city location. We stayed in a triple room including breakfast. The room and bathroom was small yet was clean. It is only 5 mins away from the Temple Bar area and walkable distances to the sights around Dublin. The breakfast was ok if you like fried foods in the morning. The hotel was expensive... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in December 07. Hotel was easy to find and only a 20 euro taxi ride from airport or just 7 euro bus ride, as a little tip make the taxi driver drop you off on main road as it cuts down cost! Otherwise he has to drive further round to get outside hotel as it... more

I stayed for 1night in the Abbey Hotel in Abbey street in Dublin city center.I had chosen it for its location and value for money. As I was arriving late-midnight,and leaving early the next morning I was not very interested with any"extras"..i just wanted a good nights sleep. The man at reception was polite and friendly.Unfortunatly the bed was disgusting. The bed sheets... more

The Abbey Hotel (or Hotel Abbey) is centrally situated and very convenient for getting around Dublin. Friendly and helpful staff. The bar gets quite busy and has a disco at the rear though this didn't cause us any concern. There can be some noise from the road outside if you're at the front of the hotel since there is a... more
