I went here with a group of friends recently and we stayed for one night. The hotel told us over the phone when booking the rooms that parking was available What they failed to mention was that parking cost an additional €20 per night per car . Also you must drive a very short distance from the hotel to the... more

I enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights in 2008. Rooms were quite large by European standards. Good buffet breakfast, nice bar and location. (its about a 10 minute walk into the main city area). Good value. more

This small, but comfortable hotel, is a bit far from the city center and sites. This downside is negated by a very attentive reception/staff, cleanliness, and living spaces. This location is great for getting to Trinity College, Grafton/O'Connell streets, Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, and everywhere else, but the return trip is a nightmare. The Dublin Bus/Trams are efficient, but not... more

We booked as the hotel appeared a less expensive choice within reach of the center of Dublin. The walk to the sights is long and boring with little of interest along the way. The handicapped room lacked a roll-in shower. The hotel was tired and dated. On the plus side, the staff was attentive and helpful. Overall, basic accomodations, not... more

I had to attend an 8am meeting in this hotel so chose to stay there rather than get up too early and have a 90 minute or more commute to Dublin. It suits if you have business in the south east of the city. All the facilities you need, decent size room, adequate breakfast. I asked for a quiet interior... more

Stayed here with friends for the All Ireland final weekend. We were allowed to check in before 1 pm. We used the hotel parking because we were running late, otherwise we would have gone looking for cheaper parking, cost 20 euros to park for the night. Room was a stadard very clean hotel we expected to find. Location, we spent... more

The place was way to much for what you get. The beds, carpet, and bathrooms are worn out and need to be redone. The breakfast was a poor excuse for a breakfast. I knew you had to pay for parking but didn't know where. You are paying about $30 US dollars a day to park in the garage underneath the... more

We decided to get the public bus to the hotel as the lady at the tourist info desk said it would be cheaper then playing for the hotel bus who wouldn't be able to pick us up from the hotel anyway to return us to the airport. We had a disaster! We had a map and thought we had got... more

I visited the Holiday Inn in August 2009 for two nights as a family of two adults and one child. I chose the hotel after doing some searching, and frankly it was the least expensive place in the area of dublin that I recognised, Lets not pretend that good value in accomodation in Hotels exists in Dublin - its a... more
