The hostel was OK. The location is perfect. The people are friendly. And our room was clean (8 people). Toilets were a bit crappy, aswell as the shower... but it was OK. I think is good value for money (about 15 eur pppn i think). more

I went there with a group of 7 friends(both male and female)when I was in uni and it was one of the worst experiences ever! I am not picky and definitely wasnt back then as I was living in the Halls but this place was purely and simply disgusting. The beds were dirty, the kitchens state was appaling:the oven didnt... more
I stayed at the Litton Lane for five days during the summer of 2008. It was my first experience staying in a hostel and, as a middle-aged traveller, I was a little apprehensive at first. I can honestly say, though, that I enjoyed my stay, and would stay here again. The staff was friendly (really, some of the friendliest people... more
Stayed here on boxing day having booked an apartment. Took an hour to get checked in as desk staff could not find booking, keys etc. Then waited while room was 'cleaned'. Still dirty and basic for the price and shower failed to function. All in all very poor value for money and a lot of hassle. To be fair the... more
the location of this place is great, and they did provide parking at 8 euros a day if you have a car. all the people that worked there were really nice and super cool. the breakfast was really crappy. we had a private double room which was fine, (actually pretty big and had a nice window), but the shared bathroom... more
Litton Lane Hostel is located right in the centre of Dublin, just two minutes from Temple Bar. It's a cool place to stay. We (group of 8) stayed at Litton Lane for three nights. There was free breakfast included, and you could use the kitchen for cooking whenever you wanted, which was a really nice gesture and a cheap way... more
Warning! You will get bitten by bed bugs. The whole hostel is infested with bed bugs! I had 60 bites and stayed there one night! they contacted me and said that they steamed cleaned the mattress! what a height of cheekiness. The whole building has to be chemically cleaned! Also, I have found out that from www.hostelworld.com website that at... more
This was the first time i'd stayed in a hostel so i didn't really know what to expect and i thought it was fine. The common area was a good social spot and we stopped to chat to a few people who were staying there at different times. The location was very good, a short walk to Temple Bar, O'connell... more
Room was clean but we were told we had an ensuite and on arrival we were put yes into a double room but with no ensuite, and right next to the stairwell which had a swinging door that was constantly being banged open not only late at night but early in the morning and throughout the whole day. this was... more
Needing to book a hostel for a bank holiday weekend, I had little other choice than this place, since my first 3 choices were booked already. This place really pushes you on how they used to be a recording studio and all the big names who once recorded here - well, I think it would have been better of if... more
