We had a great time at Charleville Lodge (although the Irish weather left a lot to be desired). We had two lovely rooms - with plenty of space - which were well cleaned both days we were there. The Irish breakfast was wonderful. The lounge is very comfortable indeed - just the place to relax after a hard day tourist... more

Was not impressed with the hotel. Found my room small and cold with damp on the bathroom ceiling.. Furnishings were damaged and the staff at reception were not very efficient. There is free internet, no coffee faciities in the room. Bus to city centre was convenient. My opinion is that the hotel is in need of basic repairs and even... more

Wonderful place to stay and at a really descent price! Don't think you can get much better. Also everyone that worked there was soo helpful, room was great, dinning area and common room was also beautiful. Bus stop for a mere 5 -10 minute bus ride was practically right outside the front door. Only regret was that I could only... more

This was a great place to stay if you want a good rate and are willing to be a bit outside the action (but within walking distance) in Dublin. This place is charming, clean, accommodating, and the staff is great. It's about a 15 min. walk from the city, and the bus stops close to the hotel, both coming and... more

Pleased with my choice to stay at this hotel, which is somewhere between a B&B and an upscale hostel. Room was compact - but cozy, and quiet, with a nice outlook over the surrounding district. Facilities were clean and fully functional. A little disappointed the free wi-fi did not reach my room, but got a good signal in the sitting... more

The rooms here are very cheap and the rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated - what more could you want? There are a couple o0f small downsides though - the location - it's fairly equidistant between the City Centre and Pheonix Park and a fair trek from either. However, there is a bus stop close by and the Number... more

They offer a very good breakfast and free tea and coffe everytime of the day. The hotel is not very close to the center, but it very well served by bus and it tooks only 15 minutes to get to Temple Bar from it. I had a really good experience in staying in this hotel and I fell I can... more

One of the friendliest hotels i've ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms, Great Free Breakfast. Great location, easy walk to Center of Dublin. Bus stop is located in front of hotel. The Dublin Zoo is located right up the road. We ate dinner close to the hotel everynight. This would be my top choice of a hotel if stay in Dublin... more

I stayed here in Mid- June with my husband, parents, and brother on a family vacation. The hotel was nice the staff was great, and we got a good value for our money. My parents really enjoyed their room as it was spacious (oh my was it ever), and it was on the main floor so they did not have... more

A group of us stayed in this hotel. It is in a good location, great rates and parking included which is a bonus. The rooms were clean. Rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy and other rooms look out onto other buildings, but that is to be expected in a city centre hotel. I stayed in a triple... more
