I stayed with my husband from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th November. Location was superb - close to the Liffey, Temple bar area (but not too close!) and the main shopping areas. Easy access to all transport links. Accomodation, food and service were excellent. All staff members we met were friendly and went out of their way to help /... more

My husband and I stayed at O'Neills Townhouse for one night for €120 per night. We reserved a double en suite (bathroom attached) room, but ended up getting an en suite room with a queen bed and bunkbed set. No complaints here. We didn't have any trouble checking in during the day in the pub. They took us right up... more

We regularly stay at B&Bs and enjoy the quirks and eccentricities one tends to find there. O'Neills falls somewhere in the middle of our past experiences--some places have been better, but some have been worse. Our room at O'Neills was large by B&B standards and though the bathroom needed attention to the mildew on the ceiling, everything else was quite... more

We just returned from Ireland and O'Neils was one place we really enjoyed. The service was exceptional. The food was excellent. While we didn't order from the steam table we special ordered the fish and chips and it was great. The beer garden was great to sit outside. We were lucky enough to be there on Monday night and they... more

I stayed there in Dec 07/ Jan 08 to celebrate the new year's eve. The guesthouse is located in the very city centre of Dublin, just a few mins walking away from the Trinity College, Temple Bar, O'Connell Street and other attractions. The rooms are very clean and big and the breakfast was good. more

It was our first day in Dublin and when we arrived to check in, the door was locked and a note said to buzz to be let in. After buzzing repeatedly and no one came to let us in, we were forced to make an international call from a payphone to track someone down to let us in. A guy... more

It was very unfortunate that their car was towed away because of the parking violation which was ultimately their mistake, and it did spoil their visit to us for which we regret. However may I say that they have channeled their disappointment in a very negative manner with their review, which does not bear any resemblance to all the positive...

No real complaints here, unless you're the type of person who is inclined to complaining about silly things. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location- very close to Temple Bar. The staff was friendly and chatty in the bar and even the bar food was good. My wife was pregnant and they were accommodating and respectful. more

Well, we were excited about staying here as my GF's last name is O'Neill. Once we got there however, it didn't start out so hot. We arrived in the later morning, like 11-12 and once we found the entrance, a door on the main street, we had to pound on the door to get someone to open it. Be prepared... more

My three girlfriends and I enjoyed our one-night stay in this delightfully located guesthouse. Within walking distance of Temple Bar, Trinity College and all other major sites in Dublin. Room was clean, beds comfortable and bathroom bigger than expected. Room facing street was a bit noisy, but better with closed window. Breakfast a bit sparse but okay. Will definitely be... more
