The Sheldon Park is in the middle of an industrial estate about four miles from the centre of Dublin. Doesn't sound promising does it? It's redeeming feature, though, is that the LUAS (tram) red line is only a few steps away, and will whisk you into central Dublin in about 20 minutes for a couple of Euros. This makes it... More

The hotel is in a business park near a tram station. The room was small but tidy. Unfortunately, live music is being played on weekends even after midnight. The music is too loud to get any kind of sleep. Really inconvenient for early risers.

The hotel is just fine. Room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as we had a member of our family in Crumlin hosptital. The shower made funny noises and the water pressure wasn't constant. The staff in the hotel were very nice, but the staff in the restaurant were atrocious, rude and not polite. I would recommend the... More

This was our second visit to Dublin, and we elected to stay for 4 nights at this hotel again.I'm very pleased we did,as we had a quiet, cosy room on the top floor, the beds were comfortable and the TV reception good. The room was also thoroughly cleaned every day. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and in... More

This is a fairly old building but large and with good facilities. However if you are only here for a short visit it may be a bit too far away from town. Now of course the Luas does run not too far away and that gets you into town in about 15/20 minutes. But the walk to the tram is... More

The hotel is very conveniently located 2 minutes’ walk from the tram. You can use the tram to go and explore down town. The parking is free when you stay in the hotel – be aware of parking fees when you book your hotel in Dublin – most of the hotels charged between 10 and 20 euro per night for... More

I'm still in my one night stay at the Best Western Sheldon Park Hotel. It would be fantastic to be able to sleep, but the band that is playing at the bar is so loud (and so awful) that sleep is impossible. I am not pleased to spend this amount of money for a room in which to sleep and... More

We spent three nights in the Sheldon Park Hotel and we will definitely be back. We had a large room with a Double and Single bed.The location was excellent as the Luas is just a few minutes walk and its only 25 minutes into the city centre. I was able to leave my car in the car park all weekend!... More

I had visited the hotel a number of years ago so knew the location. For strangers there is free carparking a plus in Dublin excellent leisure centre with a pool. (which kept the teenager amused). The bar is very spacious offering an excellent variety of... More
