I spent a week in Dublin where I took part in a geophysical conference. This hotel is situated in the heart of Dublin, within easy reach of all the historic sights and also close to the DART station so it is easy to organize nice excursions in the vicinity of Dublin as well. The Adelphi Guesthouse offers you a pleasant... more

We (me, my husband, Mum & Dad) stayed overnight at The Adelphi (Dublin) in June 2009 to celebrate Fathers Day, and paid £95 per room for B&B. It is central and easy to find - in the Dublin 1 area (just north of the Liffey). The flights were booked direct with Ryanair. We all loved Dublin, and had a fabulous... more

just arrived back from a nights stay at the Adelphi - what value for money, rooms spotless, staff brilliant, location excellent especially for the O2 building walking distance away, central for all sightseeing in Dublin, also the use of the parking space is fantastic no need to think about parking in town, we will definitely be going back again on... more

This guesthouse was a great find. Booked last minute it is 5 min walk from the central bus station inDublin. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and allowed to leave our bags as we arrived 9.30am before check-in. Large and airy room - the shower wasn't great but everything was clean. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and lots... more

Arrived on a Thursday evening about 10ish, rang the door bell to make enquires which was answered by a warm greeting (NOT) after some negotiations we were shown to a double room which was warm and cosy (NOT – freezing, they don’t put the heating on until your in the room – which translates into, you have to put the... more

very unkind staff, rooms are ugly and far from being cosy. I stayed many times in 3* B&B in Dublin even on the same street and never met with such an unwillingness to the people who stayed there. Attention! everybody, who need to get an invoice for staying there, prepare for lack of understanding the matter and unwillingness to help... more

I spent a weekend here with my girlfriend following a recommendation from a friend. We contacted the guesthouse directly rather than go through a reservations website and managed to save 10% of the price. Some other posters mentioned that they found it expensive here but, compared to other places in the city centre, the price was below or around the... more

Adelphi was good budget accomodation. Building has seen better days and would benefit from a bit of routine maintenance, painting etc. Rooms were clean, linen was clean, showers/toilets were clean. Breakfast was good and served in a clean dining room. We were with a large party and the only criticism was a lack of common space. more

Good value accommodation right in the centre of Dublin. Rooms a bit small but all you need, clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Very helpful proprietor (Luke) Not exactly The Ritz, but if you`re looking for value in what is becoming a fairly expensive city, the Adelphi fits the bill. more

Went for weekend with friend, im 22 and he's 24. After I had booked the B&B I came and found reviews for it which made me think I was going to a dump. However I dont agree at all as we had no problems with the place. The location is great because its 2 minutes away from the bus depot... more
