We stayed here for 6 nights in early September having booked the room on Hotwire for approximately $78. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed and bathroom and it was quiet. There is construction in the neighborhood, but that did not pose a problem. We purchased a 7 day bus and Dart pass when we arrived and also a... more

We purchased our first night and our last 2 nights via Pricelane and got a fabulous price! Maldron Hotel is very nice - as soon as we got there (which was before our check in time) we lucked out as our room was ready for us. We went to the room which was on the second floor. The room was... more

Overall, nice hotel--clean and comfortable but lacking certain things such as air conditioning (and room got stuffy), clock radio, closet doors to hide clothing, etc....the hotel, however, was so clean that it was a major plus! Beds were a little hard but tolerable (might be a european thing, too). Food was good and bar downstairs had nice atmosphere. Helpful staff. more

I've only just read the other reviews now as we booked here on a promotion site. Looked great, and good value. Overall a nice bright hotel, and good rooms, though the bathroom seems a little small and unattractive for 4 star. So the disappointments - 1. No parking! this may be mentioned on their own site but I've read the... more

Just stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, i'm not sure what the people who write negative reports about this hotel expect, this is a 4 star hotel, the rooms where clean and fairly large, double room had a double bed and single bed, beds where made every morning, sheets turned down every evening. Wi-Fi in rooms. Leisure facilites included... more

My husband and I went to this hotel thinking it was going to be grand as it was a 4 star. (We came to Dublin to celebrate our wedding Annv.) We were wrong. The room was average and the beds were HARD. My back is still a wee bit sore from it. The noise from the construction going on next... more

This place is awful. The service was awful, couldn't even get a toothbrush. No wash cloths, no lotion or soap. Sterile and boring enviornement. It is about a one star hotel trying to be a four star...who gave it that rating. more

Got told breakfast was at 7am. It was during the week but on Saturday we went down at 7am again and nobody was about. Went to reception and the smug guy behind the desk said, before I even asked, 'It's 8am at weekends'. Awful, awful hotel. Bad location, cleaners always late in the afternoon, terribly overpriced, funny smell in hallways,... more

My friend and I stayed at the Maldron Hotel Cardiff Lane October 9-October 15, 2009. We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. The night manager, George Hancik, greeted us graciously at 6:00 AM on October 9th after we had traveled for over 24 hours. He allowed us to check in early and our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet.... more

Stayed at the Maldron for 3 nights, were really pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel - our bathroom was absolutely spotless and every day the room was made up immaculately by the maids. We had breakfast included in our deal and found it more than adequate, but a bit disappointing on the sunday morning - it was so busy... more
