Upon arriving we found out that we couldn't check in until 2:00. They held our bags for us while we were gone which is when we got our first look at the maze of a place it is. We came back later that night and retrieved our bags from a nonchalant employee. The room was fine, pretty spacious and clean.... more

I stayed one night at Citi Hostel in Dublin in the summer of 2009 and it will likely be my last. Citi Hostel was clean and conveniently located, but that’s about all it has going for it. There is a kitchen, but not even a simple breakfast was offered. The charge for a towel was quite steep and if you’re... more

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about staying at the hotel. My friends had organised my Stag weekend / Bachelor party in Dublin and we stayed in 3 rooms. It's very conveniently located, just 10 minutes stroll from the Temple Bar are, and right next to the hostel there're pubs and clubs. If you don't have to... more

TOILET.... uhrm.... no words to discribe it and believe me, i have seen and stayed at a lot of dodgy hostels...! Shower; no idea; it looked... more

The hostel isn't so good but you are just ten minutes walk ffrom the city centre. You can also have a free brakfast. It's a good hostel if you want to visit dublin in a cheap way: you don't have to use buses to visit it and in the end it's cheaper than stay in a hostel not in the... more

With the price of accomodation in Dublin continually rising, i was looking for a cheap bed to enjoy the weekend at the Linkin Park concert. Citi Hostel fitted the bill perfectly, its location was great (just up from St Stephens Green) and the room was adequate for our needs. By no means was it luxury but the basics worked and... more

I recently stayed at the Citi hostel, and having read many of the reviews below was not expecting much. In reality, it was the best hostel I have ever stayed in -- immaculate, central and with great service. To be fair, I shared a private twin with my friend, and we even had our own bedroom. Breakfast included, it ended... more

This hostel lies about every write up they have ever written online. This hostel does not deserve the rating that it has on websites like hostelbookers. It was the worst hostel that we stayed in on our entire trip (we traveled to 17 different countries). There is no extravagant breakfast with cheese, fruit, etc as mentioned in the description of the... more

Reception was friendly. The way to the room was a bit of a hassle, as the hostel was kind of a maze. The room was pretty small, but clean. The bathroom was ok, although the shower only offered at first almost boiling hot water. After you let the water run for a while, it became tolerable. The view was not... more

We stayed at the Citi Hostel for 2 nights in November. This was a decent hostel. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with any questions we had. The hostel is quite a maze to navigate and has a lot of stairs. We had a twin ensuite room, which I was thankful for because I can't imagine trying... more
