A friend and I spent a weekend in Dublin at Ashling House. It and its sister b&b Azalea Lodge were both recommended on Trip Advisor, I stayed for 5 days in Azalea and the weekend in Ashling. In Ashling we had a twin room on the ground floor which was far better than 90% of hotels I have stayed in.... more

Ashling House is a nice place to stay in Dublin. The rooms are a bit small, including the bathroom, and but still clean and comfortable. At my arrival I was welcomed by the owner who was very helpful in explaining how to reach the city centre, which is actually very close and reachable by bus in about 20 minutes. It... more

I stayed over a weekend at the Ashling house. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I am living in the USA and was treated like family by Mary B, Ber and Padraic. The Irish breakfast was fantastic. I was able to have a snack/coffee at any time during the day. It is a cost effective way of living the high... more

We stayed over a weekend with family. The manager Mary and the owners Bernadette and Padraig could not have been nicer or more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was perfect. Everything was available to you. The home cooking was wonderful. Thank you so much for everything. more

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I was traveling alone and had a single room. It had a double bed, and was not large, but roomy enough. I checked out a room that opened onto the garden - it was a nice size. The breakfast was good - cereals, toast, rools, ham, cheese. The breakfast room and attached front... more

We found the B&B through the internet. We were 14 people coming for the Rugby game. It was a great experience and we enjoyed the kindness of the people there as well as the cleanliness of the place. It is very convenient with buses going to the airport (15 minutes) and to the center (roughly the same time) as well... more

We arrived back at the B&B after an afternoon sightseeing in Dublin wet and very cold, hoping to warm up in our room but the heating was off. We waited around for an hour for someone to turn up then walked across the road to the other B&B owned by the same people to ask what time the heating came... more

This B+B is grade A standard accommodation. I spent two weeks here. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The place is immaculate. The breakfast is excellant and offers everything. They have an excellant system of where you can go into the breakfast room at any time, where there is a constant supply of yoghurts, bread, fruit, cereal, selection of teas, hot chocolate etc, and... more
