I’m a city center dweller. Since I left the Dublin accommodation to 5 days before departure (which happened to coincide with a huge football game), there was nothing available in the city center. Nothing. I would have not picked Ellis Quay to stay at but really had no other choice as Plan A through W were exhausted. I struggle with... more

I had a pleasant stay at Ellis Quay and would recommend it as a good alternative to a couple of rooms in a hotel. The facilities were generally clean and well maintained although the standard of finish was rather basic. The bland wall pictures and lack of soft furnishings made the place rather clinical, cold and echoey. A small improvement would... more

Easy walk from Heuston Station and to "Hop-on-hop-off bus" Located midway betwen distillery and Guiness brewery. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Minimalist in kitchen - corkscrew but no wine glasses, no saucers, no tea pot - but otherwise OK. Spar shop on next corner well stocked and open early and late more

The Ellis Quay apartments were my choice for a five-night stay during late spring 2009. The place won out on value for money compared to similar styled StayDublin apartment options such as St Augustine’s, which seemed to provide little more (except for additional furnishings) but at a higher rate. Booking directly through Ellis Quay’s website I paid 99 Euros a... more

Hi! Have just come back from Dublin and decided to share my experience with other travellers. Ellis Quay Apartments are not too bad, but they are not too good either... First of all, we found our apartment not cleaned properly: the electric cooker was greesy, floor was not swept at all and the bed covers in bedroom were badly stained.... more

Given all the lovely choices in Dublin, don't waste your money on these CHEAPLY furnished, cheaply constructed apartments. The location is quite good, but after seeing what else was out there for the same price, this place is a rip off. more

I would recommend the Ellis Quay apartments. I did not find a better value in Dublin. There were six of us (two adults and four teens). Two of the kids had cots in the living room. It is a bit outside the main touristic area, but it is a nice walk or you can take the tram which has a... more

There were 6 of us staying in a two bedroom apartment and there was more than enough room for us all. There was 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom (sink, toilet, shower), 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 pull out sofa-bed in the living room, and another bathroom (sink, toilet, shower). Each room was very large,... more

The Ellis Quay Apartments is worth considering as a place to stay in Dublin, as you get a full apartment suite at a competitive price. It certainly beats paying the same price or more for a standard hotel room. In spite of being unfamiliar with Dublin, I was able to get to the location easily on arrival by taking the... more
