We stayed in the kingston after i proposed to my partner,we stayed in room 222 with sea view it was beautiful. The hotel and room was immaculate could not fault it,breakfast was amazing. We went for a short walk along harbor which was beautiful and a perfect setting for a romantic break, of course my partner wanted to go shopping... more

My husband and I stayed in the Kingston Hotel for 4 nights during our holidays in Ireland. Before our stay we were concerned about staying in the hotel after reading some of the reviews on the tripadviser but we must say it was one of the bet place we stayed in. The hotel is clean, cozy and on very good... more

Arrived aboutn 9pm. Moment I walked in the door my heart fell to my toes. Grubby, behind reception desk was a total kip. Still hoped for the room to be better. Room 201. It was very grubby, though the bed linen was clean. The bathroom was a disaster, everywhere was grotty, partly broked taps. Horrible floor tiles. Bath towels were... more

As a retired, but mobile, couple from Florida, we greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Kingston Inn in Dun Laoghaire. The staff, especially Sinead, was very helpful in handling our reservation request and in assisting with our stay. My Wi-Fi did not connect there, (but others did) so I did not have Internet access. The breakfast was very good.... more

We had a horrible experience at the Kingston. While it does have a phenomenal location, the rooms are not very clean and they are noisy. Also, the hotel staff is not very helpful and the food is lousy. FURTHERMORE, WE GOT NASTY BED BUGS upon our return to the U.S. We had to have our home and all of our... more

We recently stayed 3 nights at the kingston. We were pretty impressed with the level of standard of the room, it was very comfortable and warm. Also the staff was very helpful and really took time in telling details about Dublin and the surrounding area (we didn't even need to ask any advice, the receptionist took a map and showed... more

She had a room availale straight away but offered us a room with a full harbour view so we waited for this one. Room was spacious but shcking interior design..Flowery curtains and bed clothes... more

Although I could not fault the hotel and its staff for being helpful and accommodating this hotel is not for the disabled. It has poor access at the back of the hotel for wheelchair users. In all though we found the rooms clean and adequate and the food good. more
