Mary and Tony O'Farrell made our first three days in Ireland a memorable experience. From the first moment, we knew that we would be well cared for. The view to the sea from the bay window nook in Room #4, and the quality of the food and attention made it hard to leave. Convenient to DART, excellent restaurants and a... More

Thanks to Mary for her wonderful hospitality. One block from the Dart line into Dublin makes this a convenient place to see Dublin from, with a relaxed country atmosphere. The Walking tour to the South is a must see and Bullock Castle and harbor is a short walk from the B&B. Our room was neat and clean, the food was... More

We spent two nights at this lovely B&B, using it as our homebase to tour Dublin, but we also found Dun Laoghaire to be a delightful place to visit in itself. The owners were friendly, helpful and anxious to make our stay pleasant. Our room was clean and cozy, and the view, beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed in a... More

I and many of my friends have stayed in Windsor Lodge. It is clean and bright, close to dart and just beside the sea. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone. More

I've just seen Dun Laughaire on Daybreak T.V.(Itv) and feel I must write to agree what a brilliant place is it. To make it perfect, the B and B we stayed in was home from home. Mary the owner was just pure Irish always smiling, helpful and just so friendly even helping us with trips around the bay and advising... More

Because we had a car, we didn't want to stay in Dublin so opted to stay in Dun Laoghaire, taking the train into the city. Windsor Lodge is within a block of the train station and within walking distance of several good restaurants. I recommend spending a little bit more for the largest room with a view of the water;... After a wonderful stay at Windsor Lodge last year, I decided to take my 11 year old daughter to Ireland, and the Windsor Lodge, for her winter break from school. It was just as I remembered it being. Friendly, cozy, and welcoming. We went to Dalkey Castle, which is just two stops on the DART, (Dublin Area Rapid Transit), and... More

My daughter and I spent 4 nights in the Windsor Lodge and it was a delight. Mary was very friendly and helpful and made us the most wonderful breakfast! I absolutely had to buy a few packets of that wonderful bacon she cooked for us ;) the location is great, with the direct link to the airport via Patton Flyer... More

My husband and I traveled with another couple to Ireland. We stayed 2 nights at Windsor Lodge when we first arrived on June 25th. The location is awesome. You take the Patton Flyer bus directly from the airport (8 Euro per person) and it drops you off a block away from the B&B. The DART station is at the top... More

This B&B was a great place to start our trip to Ireland. It was easy to get to with public transportation and just a skip up the road from the Dublin Bay waterfront. Breakfast was plentiful, and the beds in our very clean room were the best of our stay -- very comfortable! More
