Might be the people of Dun Laoghaire have great fun using the gym facilities in the basement of Rochestown Lodge - but overnight guests surely could find the place rather depressing.
Rooms are rather o.k. despite the awful curtains that don't let proper daylight in - but mating pigeons on your windowsill at 4 am are not really fostering a...

I saw an advert in the local paper and decided to ring. The staff were helpful and friendly and the booking made. Was easily found after a drive down from N. Ireland. First impressions were good. Clean tidy and efficient. The room didn't disappoint and the leisure suite and pool were very good. The location was a short bus trip...

I think my title of this review says it all. They are the nicest group of people, very accommodating and the price is very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about the Rochestown Lodge.
The food is wonderful here as well but if you want something else the Sallynoggin Inn just down the street is awesome!!

However, Rachel on reception rang me on the 19th to let me know that we would have to cancel our booking as the hotel didn’t have any hot...

Having arrived for our 4 night stay in the early evening we were soon shown to our room by the friendly and efficient staff. The room itself was large with a double and a single bed, large bathroom and very well decorated and clean. The only down side was that there was nowhere to sit and relax in the room,a couple...

Have stayed in the Rochestown Lodge Hotel a number of times recently (October 2011). The reception staff are pleasant and helpful - if needed. The rooms are spacious - in my experience. The hotel has a leisure centre with swimming poll, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All are excellent facilities and not very crowded. The breakfast (continental!) is adequate but...

Arrived late afternoon we wanted to eat something. The restaurant was busy but still some free tables. We were waiting one hour in the bar for table and further fouty minutes for food. The steaks were overcooked but otherwise the food was OK. There is no floor manager, the
waiters are unprofessional and unorganised just running around like headless chickens....

This hotel is well located with easy access to the dual carriage way and not far (still too far to walk) from the DART station. Breakfast is OK, but the service very helpful and friendly, just as at the front desk. Car park free, easy access and plenty of space. For the price (less that 100Euro per room per night)...
