We stayed here when sailing in the Volvo Dun Laoghaire regatta to avoid staying on the boat. There were 10 of us in the group and we got the 8 bed room (which has 12 beds!!!) This is great as it has its own balcony with seats etc but the "sea view" is a bit of a estate agents take on matters as you would have to stand on a box to see it.

The rooms were reasonably clean and beds comfortable but the shared athrooms were not the best and cleanliness was not great.

The kitchen was relitevely well laid out with plenty of utensils and pots/pans etc but out of the two cookers only 4 of the 8 rings and 1 of the 4 ovens worked. Although cooking for everyone i chose not to look in the bottom of the one working oven to closely as it was absolutely filthy.

The staff were really helpful and welcoming.

A good spot for a low budget stay but they could do with investing in the kitchen to bring it up to a reasonable standard. more
