Dan O'Hara's Homestead is a superb establishment. The Staff were very welcoming, friendly and eager to assist us. The rooms were spotless and VERY spacious! The breakfast we had the next morning was lovely. Clifden is also not too far, we drove in the evening to enjoy a meal. There is aslo quite a bit to see on the farm... More

My wife and I enjoyed a great stay in the Connemara Heritage Centre (Dan O'Hara's Cottage). Our stay was wonderful - When we arrived we received a very warm welcome from the owner and a refreshing pot of tea with homemade scones. The food cooked there is all from the farm and very well prepared, cooked and presented. Our favourite... More

Big clean rooms, a friendly staff, and good food -- but what's really nice about Dan O'Hara's is the farm site up the hill. Early in the morning we walked up the road and visited the restored cottage. On that perfectly quiet morning it was just us, the ponies and the donkeys. Standing and looking out over the magnificent countryside,... More
