Me and my girlfriend were going on Holidays to Galway and booked this B&B through a website, on the add we put we were checking at 9PM as our train will arrive there at 8:30, and taking a taxi to this location will be enough to stay at 9 there.

So the problem comes when next day of booking Abhog called us and a lady tell us not very politely that if we where going come after 9 she won't open the door as she likes to have some rest before going to sleep at 9:30 because she wakes up at 6:30 on the morning to start working every day. I explained that we where supossed to be there before that, but that we didn't knew if the train will be having any problem or delay on the way. To this she said it wasn't her fault the train will or not be late so she don't care about, it's like this 9PM or nothing.

Of course we cancel and loose 10% of our money, on our holidays the last thing I like is to be unwelcome on a place I'm paying to stay, but what will you do in this case... more
