Used Racing Lodge Hotel as a base whilst a family member was attending the Galway Clinic. Location is superb for this purpose as Clinic is only 3 mins away. B&B rate was excellnet value @ €60 for 2 people. Room basic but comfortable. Had dinner in Darcy's Bar which again was great value & food quality was good. A busy bar was well handled by the efficient barman on duty. After a good nights sleep in the comfortable king size bed , a hearty breakfast was provided in the morning rounded off a very enjoyable stay. Whilst we did not avail of the bus service to the City, the No. 9 appeared to operate to / from on a regular basis. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value accommodation & good value & quality food. Well done & thanks. I would certainly stay here again if I was in Galway area.
