The Marian Lodge Guesthouse is by no means flash, in fact when you enter the rooms you think you have stepped in to a timewarp - circa 1950s perhaps. This doesn't have to be a negative - think of it as quaint, I honestly don't think they have updated the decor since then. It's a little bit like your nana's... more

Just returned from 3 nights at Marian Lodge with my wife and 18 month old daughter. The room was OK but it was a bit dusty and tatty. On the second day we were told to take the rubbish from our room (nappies etc.) with us rather than put it in the bin of the B&B and find a bin... more
