Advertised as having WIFI, didn’t manage once to get it working. Only advise from the owner was that it doesn’t work for any laptop. 2 out of 3 mornings cold showers... even after resetting the boiler and waiting 30 minutes the water remained cold. Rooms average but clean... Towels very old and nearly falling apart. Plus point... Rooms had flat... more

We stayed at the Corrib Haven guesthouse for one night on a week long trip around Ireland. We were delighted with the B & B from the moment we turned into the drive. It is a lovely ivy covered stone building with a pond and garden in the front. We were greeted by the owner, Mrs. Angela Hillary, who offered... more

We stayed here recently as we were attending a wedding at the Westwood House Hotel which is only a 5 min walk away and it was a cheaper option. ie. 90euro for 2 per night as oppose to 209 euro per room per night. That was a big saving. The other good point I liked was that you could make... more

Just back from an overnight stay at Corrib Haven as part of a business trip. Excellent welcome and lovely garden where we relaxed when we arrived and then sat out until midnight on a warm balmy evening. Facilities were very good and owner friendly. Breakfast was excellent - and service very good. Will stay again. more

On our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly welcoming owners Angela & Tom. They provided us with lots of information about where to eat, how to get in to town etc. City centre very near, took 15 mins walk. The guesthouse has a sitting room that was open all night for us to make tea after our long day... more

found information about this guest house on the internet and gave it a try on our fist visit to Galway. Its good value for money and eventhough is off the beaten track its a good place to stay and easy bus access into the city. Breakfast was good lots to choose from and the people who run it are very... more

The Corrib haven is a clean guest house with basic facilities. The decor is late 80's early 90's. Thankfully myself and my partner only used the Corrib haven to sleep. The main woman fonting the operation in terms of serving food and cleaning rooms was extremely stressed and jumpy. She made us feel quite tense rather than put us at... more

A comfortable guesthouse that offered a standard room that was bright, warm and well presented. The new manager was a little quiet or maybe shy, she was pleasent and welcoming. Breakfast was the full irish and did the job perfectly. The host was very helpful in recommending what to do and where to go. Overall this was a pleasent haven... more

in fairness to the new owners of Corrib Haven it would be unfair not to let people know that it has changed hands since last reviewer stayed there. We can also acknowledge (as with other previous reviwers stance), as to it been an ok place for what you pay.Our room was small with small bathroom and breakfast was not that... more

My husband and I stayed there 5 years ago and it's still a joke between us. The hosts would barely speak to us during our 3 night stay. The, what was it, "posture sprung" mattress or some such nonsens, was really just worn out with a huge dip in the middle. When we asked for a bottle opener so we... more
