Stayed there after a rugby match with my two sons. All the staff were great and the food in the bar reasonable and tasty. Long journey to the leisure centre but worth it when you get there. Id go back there again .

Have stayed here twice now - once when it was the Carlton and once as the Connaught. The rooms are quiet, clean, spacious and in great condition. It has loads of parking, but is a bit outside the city centre, so you'll need to get a taxi unless you don't mind a bit of a walk. The breakfast was fine... More

Would definitely recommend this hotel for visiting Galway city or county. Great value, I stayed there mdweek for 34 euro room only. Bus stop about 50 metres from hotel entrance. Staff couldnt be more helpful and the hotel wont rob you for breakfast if you fancy it
