Seriously, Joan's scones are fantastic! The rest of the breakfast was excellent too. We stayed here two nights, with a trip to the Aran Islands in between. Nice room with excellent bed. Quiet oasis but close enough to walk Galway. Our caring hosts, Frank and Joan, are what separate this B&B experience from any other we have had. Frank and Joan run a top notch establishment in Galway. The breakfast is superb and the service is excellent. We were lost after a long drive and called Frank. He insisted that he would meet us at our location and guide us to the Petra house. It does not get any better than that. more
