Great location and overall exactly what we were looking for. Spent NYE and subsequent night here. Were out partying inGalway city for 2 nights so this was perfect. If we hadn't been drinking might have been kept awake from street noise but this was not a problem for us. Also great bar attached. Very good value for money as well.... More

My husband and I were traveling recently with our mother's throughout Ireland. I wish I had read the reviews before booking, but we really just called the hotel without doing too much research due to the great location. Now don't get me wrong, we knew we would be staying in the busiest part of town, but what we were not... More

My son and I recently spent three days in Galway on the hunt for traditional music. We weren't disappointed, we came across more sessions than we could take in. My son is a concertina and accordion player and had a ball with all the other young traditional players around. We chose to stay at the Spanish Arch Hotel as we... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a weekend break in Galway. It is in an excellent location to access all the pubs, clubs and restaurants, although the pub and restaurant in the hotel was excellent to we ended up staying there both nights. Lovely food and live music till late. It was an ideal location for us as we... More

Stayed here on a girls weekend away. We had a ball! The rooms were mint really clean and fresh the only thing was we had to ask for more towels cause they were just too small but the blonde house keeper was so nice and helpful that it wasnt a problem. But when we came downstairs the place was absolutely... More

This hotel and its staff are a delight to work with and really made my birthday extra special. I had been planning my 30th Birthday for a few weeks. Booked 5 rooms and also reserved an area in the bar for my party. Even though I'm from Galway myself I decided to stay in the hotel rather than getting a... More

The hotel itself is located in the noisest part of town so it's hard to get to sleep due to people partying, music, etc but then you are also woke up very early by delivery trucks, maintenance crews and people outside. The room was clean, although very small. But the bed was so lumpy I could count the springs under... More

It's close to the action in Galway so be prepared for late night noise. If you're the one that's going to be up late then the location is perfect. We had a room at the rear of the hotel so we didn't hear the crowds on the street but a friend that had a room overlooking Quay St did. It's... More
