arriving from belgium our flight was late but the people at amberhill were very helpful and waited for us to arrive after 11pm. Our room was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Our breakfast was also wonderful and very tasty. The people at Amberhill went out of their way to help us and were very hospitable.... more

This was a great little place in Galway. We had had a flat tire prior to arriving, and they waited up for us and guided us to them via cell phone-- much appreciated. Great place if you want a well appointed B &B in Galway for a reasonable price with very personable inn keepers. more

Although the B&B is in a neighborhood without a view of anything in particular, it was a great location, especially if you do not want the hassle of downtown Galway. It is a 2 minute drive in to the town centre of Salthill, which is 5 min. from Galway. We had a couple of great meals right there, and also... more

The wideangel in cameras makes room look bigger in pictures than they are in real life and so was the case here. Most things at Amber Hill was ok. Good breakfast in a nice but tiny diningroom and nice people working there. On the big minus side though, the room was very cold and the shower lacked hot water. The... more

We were greeted by a young girl who told us our room number, but not where the room was. The stair carpet is very grubby, and there's a security camera at the top of the stairs. The interior of the house is typical of a house built in recent years and has a cheap feel to it. The door locks... more

stayed here for 1 night with some friends and family. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The owners were very helpful and had lots of local information regarding restaurants ect to hand. Our rooms were spotlesly clean and the bathrooms spacious and well appointed. I would certainly say that Amberhill was one of the best places... more

I just returned from a wonderfull stay at Amberhill bed and breakfast. The place was very clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. The extras for free such as internet station, mineral water and the great rooms really made it for us. I would certainly reccomend Amberhill for anyone travelling in the area. more

My family (wife + 2 teenagers) stayed at the Amber Hill B&B, in their chalet behind the main building during our recent 12 day trip to Ireland. I have to say it was disappointing, the only mediocre B&B experience we had during our visit. The chalet was small and the whole room had a tired look to it and it... more

My friend and I booked Amberhill Guest House for two nights in July 09 on information that it was only a ten minute walk from Leisureland and Salthill beaches as we had no transport. The first night there we walked to the beaches but it certainly didn't take only ten minutes. It actually took us 20-25 minutes. Even the locals... more
