Stayed here recently and had a really enjoyable stay. The receptionist was really helpful and friendly and she had a genuine smile, we booked into a standard double room but we were upgraded to an executive room, which was a pleasant surprise, and so worth it if you are thinking of booking in for the night!! the rooms were so... Writing about hotel experiences in Ireland is taking on a monotonous pattern with the above title. I stayed in the Clayton Hotel two weeks ago for three nights on a Senior's D,B&B package for €159, which represents incredibly good value. Like other reviews I have written on hotels in this country, the accommodation could not be faulted and it was... More

We stayed at the Clayton Hotel for two nights and found it comfortable and modern. Our room was large and clean and had a good-sized bathroom. The pressure and water temperature in the shower was excellent. The hair dryer was located in the desk drawer. The hotel had free internet through an ethernet cable that they provided. The attentiveness of... More

Hotel is a bit outside of town. Connemara Cong tour picked us up right in front of the hotel. Taxi to downtown about €12. Free parking. Registration staff not always available. Had to wait several minutes for staff to come out of the back office to check us in. Once we had their attention they were very friendly and helpful.... More

Just back from a couple of nights in this hotel with my partner. My partner had booked the hotel with a lovely girl called Emer, and she upgraded our room for us. The rooms are very contemporary, clean and spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were given the bridal suite the first night, which we found to be... More

I have stayed at the hotel for a while recently and I was really impressed. My stay was for buisness purposes on the outside of the city so it suited me perfect. It is about €11 - €13 for a cab ride into town so not ideal if you want to be walking distance to a variety of bars and... More
