We recently stayed at this camping site which is situated about 3 klms east of Killarney town on the N22 Killarney-Cork Road. The site itself was very well kept, spacious pitches, lovely trees but could do with some updating. The kitchen area was small with only two rings available for those poor campers who needed to cook hot meals. A microwave would have been brilliant but maybe they might consider on for the future.

The toilets were spotless as were the showers and the only downside was the closeness to the main Cork road. Even though there were lots of trees the noise from the road was loud. It also seemed much longer than 3 klm from Killarney; not very suitable for those wishing to tour the area. We had a camper and found it impossible to park anywhere; most car parks had barriers down only allowing cars to park which was unfair.

There are no shops close by so if you plan visiting this site have all your essentials with you. The site itself was good value... more
