Would recommend the breakfast here which had plenty of chose, but the room which was on the ground floor although spacious could have done with curtains that fitted the window and hung properly as the man in the next house could see in so you needed to keep them closed for privacy. very basic. We were absolutely shocked by how dingy and lacking in the basics, Glena House is. The rooms are miserable ,not clean and have a lot of broken furniture and utilities. We were so unhappy, that even at the risk of losing money, we decided to get up and leave immediately . Not recommended at all. more

It was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and well presented, and the breakfast was among the best I have had in any B&B. I have never bothered to review place I stayed but was disappointed with this palce I felt obliged to. Close to town centre and clean but thats the only good thing about the guesthouse. Our tour group stayed here for two nights. It is old, but clean. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Acceptable if you're looking for a bargain. The shops & pubs were about a 10-minute walk downtown. I would stay here again if traveling on a budget. more
