My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was one of our favorite spots. The rooms were nice and well kept and our Host, Patrick, was incredible. He recommended places to go and things to see on our way. The food was great and it was nice to have a choice after quite of few days of... More

We only stayed two nights at this B&B. Patrick was so helpful with advise and directions. Good location and very clean. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay of two weeks in Ireland. I highly recommend this B&B.

A friend and I returned to Woodlands B&B last weekend for the fifth year in a row for the May bank holiday weekend. As always, Paud and Julia went above and beyond to provide the best possible service imaginable. From the moment we arrived we were met by Paud with the warmest of welcomes, which continued for the duration of... More

My partner and I have just returned from having possibly one of the nicest stays ever. It was our first time to Ireland and we were welcomed with open arms. Paul is so lovely and helpful and really went out of his way to guide us in the right direction. The place was lovely and clean and the breakfast was... More

On our two week driving tour of Ireland we chose the Woodlands as our four night base in the Southwest. It met our requirements of clean, comfortable, quiet and a good quality breakfast. It exceeded our expectations in the helpfulness and engaging conversations with our host, Patrick. After loosing the side mirror battle with a stone wall Patrick even helped... More

Our stay at the Woodlands capped a lovely visit to Killarney, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was more than adequate, the breakfast was superb and Patrick and his wife were lovely hosts. I felt like I was being welcomed home and our send off was quite nice as well. Very helpful and willing to go... More

As always, my best place to stay in Killarney is at Woodlands, feeling more than welcome by Patrick and Julia like my own grandparents would. In a cosy quiet and warm atmosphere, the owner welcomes you by carrying your suitcase, such a gentleman, Patrick! And a delicious breakfast will expect you in the morning ( with choice) prepared with love... More

We got into Killarney from Ballyvaughan on what history will surely show as the single worst day of Irish weather ever. Cold, lashing rain, black skies and a fifty-knot wind conspired with a tooth-rattling, white knuckle ride south through the Burren to turn us both into physical wrecks. Patrick met us at the door and led us to a wonderful... More

We stayed for 2 days at this B & B booked by Exploring Ireland for us. We could not have been more pleased. Our hosts were welcoming and lovely. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was more than excellent. We were traveling with our teenage grandaughter who felt a bit ill the first morning. The O'Donoghues prepared a lovely... More
