The rooms were dark and dirty-there was a stain on the bedding and there was barely any natural light in the room. The bathroom was dark and tiny and we are small people as it is. The view was of some sort of shack, a wilting bush and a crabtree. The owner doesn't even stay in the house herself and... more

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having the dinning room and living room spaces to talk and write and read. Wonderful location. Amazing garden. Fine for an overnight stay. more

The place looked great on the internet. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see a lovely cottage with a wonderful view. As advertised, the gardens around the house were spectacular. We were greeted by a friendly couple. The woman of the house showed us the dining room and sitting room, both of which were nice. Then she showed us to... more

The room was small and bright but down a very dark corridor. The bathroom was terrible. The shower was ridiculously tiny, and though being quite small ourselves, we... more

Breakfast was great, the conservatory style dining area is amazing and Lily's gardens are absolutely gorgeous. She makes you think anything and I mean ANYTHING can be grown in Ireland. The Muckcross House and Abbey are just a stone's throw away from the B&B which makes it a perfect base-camp for touring around Killarney without having to deal with a... more

My husband and I just returned from Ireland, and Crab Tree B&B was our favorite B&B. You won't find a better location. It's on Mangerton Road, which is right next to Killarney National Park and Muckross House. It probably takes 5 minutes to walk from the B&B to the park, and only takes about 1 minute to drive there. The... more
