We loved this place, beautiful authentic thatched cottages, it's like stepping back in time. Houses are spacious and well equiped, with loads of space for a family with 3 kids. Our kids loved the balcony! Recommend car for exploring the Kerry area which is breathtaking. Will be back. more

I picked OKV based on wanting a central location to travel from and because it had laundry facilities. It was centrally located, as we travelled to the Dingle peninsula, Kenmare, Cliffs of Moher. The cottage was absolutely lovely. Stayed in the 8 bed cottage even though there were only 2 of us! Loads of space, immaculate, easy to book. Peaceful. Ideal for families as well as couples/groups. Depending on what you're looking for, you will either really like Old Killarney Village or not like it that much. My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Old Killarney Village for 5 days during the 2nd week of May. It was extremely quiet, which was just what we wanted. Property management folks were helpful and laid back. There were 4 bedrooms in all (Type C), so there was plenty of space for the 4 of us.... more
