Hillcrest Farmhouse really is in the middle of nowhere, about 7km down a hill track. We thought we had missed it in the mist but did eventually find it. Robert & Mary Tangney were welcoming and offered us an evening meal. Considering the distance back out to anywhere this was most welcome. We had a nice 3 course meal and coffee for 25 EUR. The room was small but comfortable.

This Farmhouse caters more for walkers than cars and is an ideal stop for walkers. Robert & Mary seemed very knowledgably about the area and gave good directions to all their guests.

The surrounding land is very beautiful.
