My husband and I stayed at the Malton for 3 nights in September 2009 for our friends' wedding and it was blissful. The hotel is all very clean and tranquil and the suite where the wedding reception was is the perfect size and well-appointed: good bar, clean well-stocked loos etc. I particularly want to mention Mary on the concierge desk... more

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was tastey and our room was comfortable. The location was great as the Outlet Shopping Center was only across the road. more

Booked the hotel last minute in person in reception and the receptionist could not have been more hepful and in fact due to sheer luck I got a complementary room upgrade. My partner and I stayed at the Malton Hotel for 2 nights recently. We got a good deal through Roomex so it worked out as quite good value and it’s worth bearing this in mind when booking as it would have cost almost €100 more had we taken the price quoted over the phone with the hotel. The Malton is... more

My Mother and Grandmother stayed here recently for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. Although mobile my Grandmother is elderly and they were promptly assigned a different room so she wouldn't have so much walking back and forth to the main facilities. Everyone was so warm and friendly and they didn't want to leave. It is suitable... more

We stayed in the Malton for the Bank Holiday weekend and our 2 boys, 6 +8 didn't want to go home. We had a lovely inter connecting room which had everything we needed. We were 2B+B and 1 D and the food was really good which was a great surprise as in our experience hotel food can be variable. The... more

Once you enter the front door until you leave, you are made feel as if you are the only person in the hotel. All the staff are friendly and courteous. There is a very homely feeling to the hotel, with lots of rooms around the reception area to sit and relax, read or have afternoon tea. Breakfast is served until... more

Beautiful old hotel, and great conference space, however, they failed to provide the simplest of services that even a one star hotel would have provided....a wake-up call. Several of our group requested wake-up calls, and most of us did not receive them. This is particularly crucial, as they do not provide alarm clocks in their rooms. This caused many of... more

Sincere apologies for this error on our behalf, unfortunately we had a problem with our automatic call service during your stay last week which has now been rectified. We realise the importance of our wake up call service especially for our corporate guests and I apologise to you and your colleagues that we neglected to provide this service during your...
