We stayed in the Malton for the Bank Holiday weekend and our 2 boys, 6 +8 didn't want to go home. We had a lovely inter connecting room which had everything we needed. We were 2B+B and 1 D and the food was really good which was a great surprise as in our experience hotel food can be variable. The... more

Once you enter the front door until you leave, you are made feel as if you are the only person in the hotel. All the staff are friendly and courteous. There is a very homely feeling to the hotel, with lots of rooms around the reception area to sit and relax, read or have afternoon tea. Breakfast is served until... more

Beautiful old hotel, and great conference space, however, they failed to provide the simplest of services that even a one star hotel would have provided....a wake-up call. Several of our group requested wake-up calls, and most of us did not receive them. This is particularly crucial, as they do not provide alarm clocks in their rooms. This caused many of... more

Sincere apologies for this error on our behalf, unfortunately we had a problem with our automatic call service during your stay last week which has now been rectified. We realise the importance of our wake up call service especially for our corporate guests and I apologise to you and your colleagues that we neglected to provide this service during your...

We stayed here recently as a special treat. We had a great time. We were lucky to have junior suite so we cannont make any complaint about the room. Any and all staff we met were very friendly and willing to help. We both had a sandwich in the bar when we arrived and it was very good. One small... more

Stayed here for a wedding, hotel is in a great location. the lobby area is fabulous and the bar and resturant are very nice. LAl the staff we met were great, really lovely Kerry charm. The only shame is the bed rooms which are old and a bit tired. Aside from this we will definately go back as the location... more

We stayed in an apartment called the 'Malton Suites' located just behind the main hotel. We wanted to have separate bedrooms to the children and this worked out much cheaper than staying in an interconnecting room. The accommodation was perfect for us with two 5 yr olds and a 14mth old. It was modern, spacious and had TVs in each... more

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It is a beautiful charming hotel with a lot of character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the centre of town which makes everything easily accessible. Definitely worth a visit. more

Stayed for one night and secured an excellent rate.Though it was after 7pm front of house staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. The period exterior of this hotel is beautifully complemented by the contemporary colours and plush furnishings of the interior. Our interconnecting rooms were very spacious, clean ,with all the necessities one needs away from home.We also overlooked the lovely gardens.... more
