We made a last minute decision to stay here on our visit to Killarney. Well within walking distance of the centre of town, the hotel has a good location for the casual visitor. For those travelling in their own vehicle, hotel residents have free access to the underground (public) car park beneath the hotel (barrier exit ticket from reception -... more

I was down in Killarney on business for two nights and I must say this was a great choice. I got one of the new rooms and it was fab - massive big bed and loads of extra space - ensuite was huge with a seperate shower and bath. Staff were really nice and friendly and breakfast (which was had... more

Stayed in Scotts for the first time on a 'two night B&B plus one evening meal' package. Thought it was great value. On arrival we were a bit disappointed with the room as it bore little or no resemblance to the picture on the hotel website. However we decided not to complain as we wanted to go out and explore... more

We are very disappointed to learn that despite our efforts to compensate this guest for the late arrival of their breakfast that they still felt aggrieved. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the error on our behalf and sincerely hope it will not deter this trip advisor member from visiting us again in the future. Our hotel’s town centre...

There were four of us in our party and we were made to feel at home straight away, a toilet seat was broken but we reported it to the front desk straight away and without any quibble or question we were moved to a new room. All the staff were so helpful and good and the whole experience was terrific.... more

My fiance and I stayed in Scotts last weekend. We had stayed 2 years ago when Scotts had undergone an upgrade and stayed in one of the newer rooms which we were delighted with-very modern and excellent value for money. However this time we booked through alpharooms.com and were very surprised on arrival when we received one of the very... more

My partner recently took me to Scotts for a romantic break, we arrived and checked in, we got to our room and I couldn't believe it.....awful small, dark dated, with dirty glasses in the bathroom and stained marble. As I wasn't paying for this I didn't want to insult my partner but as we were there for 2 days I... more

We stayed there for a couple of days during a pre-arranged tour of Ireland. The hotel is very clean and modern, however the wing they put us in was set up in a suite formation and all the rooms had automatically closing doors. So to get from the bedroom to the bathroom I had to open a couple of doors,... more

We stayed two nights here to visit the west coast of Ireland. The room was excellent but we were woken up by someone banging doors at 6.00a.m. and there was music outside until 11.00p.m., didn't bother us but could be a problem with small children. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was excellent. The hot breakfast... more
