We stayed here on the recommendation of fellow-tourists whom we met at the airport and it was a real find. We cannot praise this B&B highly enough. The accommodation is spotless and is situated at the mouth of the bay overlooking the old ship canal, Blennerville village with its windmill and the Sleibh Mish mountains. The proprietor, Ita makes this place a home from home and is so welcoming. My family and I stayed here last week, and after travelling around Ireland and staying in numerous other places, this was one of the best and by far the 'homeliest'. We felt so welcome and relaxed here. The rooms were so clean, fresh and bright, and it was so quiet there. There was a beautiful lounge room to relax in, and an amazing sun room that made you feel like you were sat in the garden. The tea making facilities were in there, and were kept replenished all the time with a tin of biscuits. The Breakfast was delicious, with home-made bread and scones each morning and a lovely full breakfast, or whatever you wished. The owners made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. It was a mile into the town of Tralee with a beautiful walk along the side of a canal with swans in it. Or a short walk to the lovely town of Blennerville. more
