We stayed here on the recommendation of fellow-tourists whom we met at the airport and it was a real find. We cannot praise this B&B highly enough. The accommodation is spotless and is situated at the mouth of the bay overlooking the old ship canal, Blennerville village with its windmill and the Sleibh Mish mountains. The proprietor, Ita makes this place a home from home and is so welcoming. Our breakfast menu was akin to a top restaurant and across four mornings we sampled everything from the smoked salmon, Irish fry to the beautiful fruit cocktail.
We enjoyed the conservatory during the day with its own tea & coffee making facilities and on the evenings which we didn’t venture out we relaxed in the guest sitting room and simply relaxed and enjoyed the views. On the nights we did go out, there is a lovely bar & restaurants (with Irish music) in the village which is only a 5 minute walk away.
