Renetly stayed here as was attenting a fundtion in the hotel so thought it would be convenient. From start to finish there was not one thing that impressed me about this place. Arrived late so was checed in by two night porters, one of which didn,t seem to know what they were doing. As soon as we got out of... more

We were on the 4th floor and everything was up to-date. A big room and a big bath. Ok the view was not great (the tops of roofs) but you can't have everything. Found the deals very good value much cheeper then a B&B, plus the pool is a added bonus. more

Stayed in beautiful killarney for 3 nights, then decided to go to tralee. Biggest mistake we ever made; booked the brandon hotel online as it was cheap €60 for one night, which was all we wanted. Girl at reception was very unhelpful and dim, not very welcoming at all. Reception area was ok. But as you get in the absolutely... more

My wife and I stayed here on a Thursday night. The front office staff were polite and helpful. No complaints there. The lobby and foyer was also clean and quiet. The rest of the hotel does need some serious updating though. I almost thought that I was back in 1992. The corridors has carpet that had to be at least... more

We felt things were just adequate at the Brandon. We did enjoy the bar scene and found the staff to be very helpful. We would probably stay somewhere else though, if we return. more

Words cannot describe the sheer awfulness of this hotel. It should be torn down as a matter of urgency. How they get away with charging the money they charge per night is utterly staggering. It really is a derilict relic of the 1980's which has massively outdated decor which one would only expect to find in the eastern bloc in... more

Don't be deceived by the lobby area (which looks quite decent). I booked a double room for one night during Rose of Tralee festival, reasonable at €160. Checked in room was terrible and tiny, I think it used to be a single room. Old fashioned everything furniture etc. Also very dark. I showered went to Rose of Tralee and checked... more

Just back from a weekend in the brandon, travelled on the supervalu promotion giving us two night b&B and one eveing meal for 99 euro per person sharing. just like it says on the tin " supervalue" the hotel location is excellent and you can avoid most of the traffic by using the ring road. The rooms are dated and... more
