This wonderful hotel is smack in the heart of Tralee in a beautiful street full of elegant, grand Georgian town houses. The food at this hotel is hearty, flavourful and memorable well worth digging in to the menu while you are there. The rooms are spacious warm and well appointed just avoid the one over the arch is you are... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Imperial. Staff was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Our breakfast in the am was fantastic...great scones. We happened to stop in Tralee while on our own tour on our way to Dingle...what a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend the Imperial to any one. Very reasonable prices too, keep up the good work! We... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights. Upon arrival we were meeted by a friendly barman, there didn't appear to be any full time receptionist there which was a bit unusual. The room was large and very comfortable but on the second night every half hour there was a loud noise which constantly woke... more

I stayed in this hotel with my partner and although the rooms were ok the food was terrible - we ate lunch in the bar and again awful. The staff were the unfriendliest I have ever come across and I would never stay in this hotel again, there are some nice hotels just outside Tralee which I would reccomend and... more

I felt like I had to post a review of the Imperial after staying there for three nights and after reading the terrible reviews on Trip Advisor. I almost made a huge mistake and canceled the reservations I had made for our group of 8, traveling for golf this month. I read the reviews and even went so far as... more

Firstly, on arrival , we were given a key, no information about what floor it was on, were to go to eat breakfast etc. There is no lift in the 3 storey hotel. On entering the room its dark, dingy and smells. The bathroom was grubby and the toilet wasn't fixed to the floor. The waste pipe was loose and... more

We stayed in the Imperial Hotel for one night only on a trip around Kerry. As far as we were concerned, one night was quite enough. We had been travelling and staying in many different hotels around Kerry for a period of a week. The weather was fantastic, as was all the accomodation we stayed in. Until we arrived in Tralee.... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in May. Rooms are ok. Ones on street front are quite noisy in the morning. Good location. Great breakfast. Very nice bar. Good bar menu. Very small car park round back. One way traffic system in front of hotel is a little annoying, quicker walking. more
