A little too gung-ho in the area of "energy conservation." Hotel lobby and entrance had few lights on at night which gave it a somewhat foreboding aura. We stayed in the Abbey Gate Hotel in July 2009, The room was very clean and well kept. Food was great and very good value for money we always had early bird menu as we had our son (7months) wt us. Very good location would highly recommend. Oh & shopping great!! more

have stayed in abbeygate often over last 10 years,up to about 4 years ago it was good,but sad to say now its terrible.. location is excellent,right in middle of tralee,one can walk to all attractions. parking is awful,why they dont come to some arrangement with multi storey car park is downright silly?? guests should get free parking there.... rooms now... more
