Our reservation was made 2 months in advance. Driving into town to get directions to the B & B we were told that the owner had to go out of town unexpectedly and that we couldn't get let in until 6:30 pm, so we had to hang out in town for 4 hours waiting. Breakfast was OJ, 1 egg, some... more
Pretty to look at from outside, beatifully decorated and maintained inside. Friendly and helpful hosts suggested we walk to the city centre through a lovely park full of beautiful rose garden beds. Charming. more
We stayed at Green Gables for two nights in June of 2003 and thought it was a great place to stay. The innkeeper was polite and informative. First, the innkeeper never greeted us or introduced herself, but immediately rushed us to our room. She was overbearing in that she was very quick to set a breakfast time and seating arrangements, rather than asking what would be convenient for the guests.
