We have stayed in crown cottages twice and each time it was delightful. Friendly hosts (and children). Perfect place to get away from it all. But within easy distance of kilkenny should the need arise- not to mention mount Juliet. Jim and Kay kelly

Beautiful location, only a short drive from Kilkenny but in the countryside on a working smallholding. Cottages are located behind the farmhouse and grouped around a central courtyard, so multiple or larger families won't be too far from one another. Cottage itself was a good size, well kept, clean and tidy with everything we needed for the weekend. Would recommend...

magical location, peaceful surroundings. The loveliest guesthouse we have ever stayed, so quaint. The owners were very accommodating & friendly. We took option to dine at cottages on the Saturday night & would recommended - food was delicious, I would go for lasagna. Salad was scrumptious too, & all homegrown organic- could not believe it!!Eva
Had a fantastic recent stay in Croan Cottages - the location is great, the cottages are cosy and owners are really friendly and helpful. There's plenty to see an do, and the farm setting is cool. Would recommend for a group of friends or for a quieter weekend away!
I recently booked 3 cottages at Croan Cottages for a weekend celebration. I couldn't have asked for a better time. The cottages are situated in a lovely shaded courtyard which just sets the tone of the place-quiet and relaxing. The houses are well furnished and the location is just stunning with the walled garden the highlight for many. To top...

We stayed at croan cottages for a part of our honeymoon. Niamh was very welcoming and it was nice that they left cava and chocolates for us on arrival. Fantastic unique experience being on a farm.
