Just back from kilkenny for the ploughing championships. We stayed in Dempseys/Da Vincis on John Street.I had a wonderful time there.We were looked after extremely well by Mark and his staff.The rooms were comfortable and clean.It is an old traditional pub and this has been maintained by the present owner.
There was lots of crack after the ploughing, the pints were first class,service super efficient and we had a fabulous dinner,homecoked and very well presented.
I would definitely recommend this pub and intend to go back in the not too distant future.Also had a fantastic lunch there the next day. more
